I feel like these are probably the most awkward posts, the first-time-I'm-blogging post. You can't just jump into all of your thoughts about products immediately, which I would love to do, so I'll talk about myself instead. And HAYYY, what girl doesn't like talking about themselves? Lol.
**********For starters, a little disclaimer: I am a TERRIBLE writer, I have awful grammar, and my vocabulary choices are similar to a kindergartners. So, sorry kids!
Sooooooo anywayyyyyys I spent my childhood years in Minnesota, where most of my life I was a tomboy. I played every sport, lived on a cul-de-sac of all boys, and loved to getting my hands dirty. Then I spent my teenage years and early adulthood in good ole Texas! (I have come to realize that people don't realize how huge Texas is.) 10 hours wide, I have only been to the major cities. But I definitely have a Texas personality... I'm a little weird like Austin, a little fancy like Dallas, and a little sassy like Houston. Don't get too excited though, I don't have the accent. The only thing I have going for me that sounds Southern is that I say "y'all". I see the disappointment peoples eyes when they realize I talk normal, hahaha. Anyways, I found an interest for make up in my freshman year of college. I somehow started working in the cosmetic department of the Macy's, by pure luck, and discovered a new passion. As I began playing in make up, I started to form new pieces of art. The rest is history. I worked as a make up artist all over Texas during college, specialized in bold and photographic looks.
I recently moved to a suburb of Washington DC, which has been a huge life change for me. Everything is different here: the food, the people, the weather, the list goes on and on. So this little blog that you're reading currently is my new adventure. A make-up advising adventure. Welcome to the ride! I'm really excited about this, and am especially excited that you're reading this. Cheers, y'all! 😀💋
